| Message: We took Emmett to Build a Bear yesterday so he could build a new pucky dog. After we convinced him he didn't want the blue and pink dog, we found a really cute brown and white puppy dog. Below are the pictures of Emmett building, bathing, and taking home his new pucky dog.       So what happened to Emmett's other favorite Pucky Dog? The one he's carried around for the last 2 years? He's been laying on the couch - - - unnoticed... |

| Message: Wisps of smoke were curling up into the air in the garage. It was dark, and the odor was of something burning. Definitely something burning. While in Branson a few weeks ago, we stopped at the Coleman Outlet center and picked up a new two mantle gas lantern.  Tonight we decided to fill 'er up and see if it worked. The smoke and smell was from the burning of the mantles to prepare them to be used for the first time. Emmett, standing next to me in the garage asked: "Are you going to show me how it works dad?" "Yeah, I'll show you how it works- I bet you'll like it." I replied. A few minutes later and the lantern was full of fuel. We struck a match, and it lit! The garage glowed a bright yellow color from the double mantles, and Emmett clapped for more. Dad: "Should we take our tent out and go camping when its warmer?" Emmett: "Yeah, we should do that" Dad: "Should we take our sleeping bags with us" Emmett: "Yes, those too" Dad: "And what about our new lantern?" Emmett: "Umm, Yeah, we should take it with us!" |

| Topic: Happy Birthday Emmett |

| Message: December 1st is Emmett's second birthday. In the past couple of weeks we've taught him to say "I'll be 2 on Monday". December 1st finally arrived, and he got to take sugar cookies in the shapes of trains over to the sitters house to share with his friends. Emmett came home that afternoon exclaiming "I had a party today. There were cookies!" That afternoon we asked Emmett what he would like for dinner. He thought about it and replied "How about a hamburger?" So for his birthday, he got to have McDonald's for dinner. After dinner, Mom made Emmett a special cake in the shape of trains. Emmett especially loved eating the candy M and Ms.    After dinner, Emmett's grumpy stopped by to sing Happy Birthday.   |
