Topic: Watching the Squirrels
Date: 2007-01-29 00:00:00
Message: "A few days ago we tossed out some old bread onto the lawn behind our appartment. It didn't take long for the birds, rabbits, and squirrels to find the bread. Today we spent time looking out the window at the squirrels, watching them eat the bread. There were several squirrels that look like they've had their fair share of bread; they were big and fat!"

Topic: Day of Cleaning
Date: 2007-01-27 00:00:00
Message: "Today we decided to finish getting Emmett's room ready for his crib. He's getting too big for his bassinet, and he needs more room to stretch out when he sleeps. Dad had to move his computers out of Emmett's room, and make room to put up his crib. While Mom and Dad spent the afternoon cleaning and moving furniture around, Emmett played on his blanket, creating big circles of wet slobber as he sucked on his fingers, in between trying to talk to us. After a hard day of cleaning, what could be left to do? Oh yeah, a NAP!"

Topic: Hiking on Turkey Ridge Trail!
Date: 2007-01-26 00:00:00
Message: "Today while the weather was nice Emmett and Dad went hiking on Turkey Ridge Trail in Wildwood. The trail was 2.1 miles long, and was absolutely beautiful. It winded up and down hills, through creeks, and along ridgetops. We got to see squirrels, deer, owls and even few bat houses!"

Topic: A Day Inside
Date: 2007-01-25 00:00:00
Message: "With it being so cold today, Emmett and Dad didn't get to go out and about. So instead, we posted some new pictures to the slideshow. Last night we put together the high chair we have for Emmett while he was sleeping. But once he heard the power drill start up, he woke up. I'm sure he just wanted to play too! "
