| Message: Tonight we went out to dinner at Chevy's and Emmett immediately spotted a whole table full of kids with balloons in their hands directly across from our table. Immediately he stood up in my lap and tried reaching for their balloons. On our way out of the restaurant, we grabbed Emmett his very own white balloon. The whole way home he played and giggled with it in the back seat of the car. Once home he kept walking around the house with it. Occasionally he'd let go and it would float to the ceiling. He'd stand there, looking at the balloon, and then over at mom, grunting until he got it back. |

| Topic: Hide And Seek In The Mall |

Message: This afternoon Amy took Emmett and I to the mall. Since it was getting cold outside, Emmett got to wear one of his new suits with a bear on the front. It was long sleeve and had a hood (which didn't bother him surprisingly). Once we were inside the mall, Emmett got a chance to walk up and down the mall next to me while Amy did the shopping. It wasn't long and Emmett spotted a large carousel, and his little legs started to run as figured if he could just get close enough to it, he could get ride it. Shortly after that Amy caught up to us, and we went into another department store that had lots of clothes racks spread out all over. Emmett decided he wanted play a game of hide and seek by running around the corner of a clothes rack, and wait to see if I was going to peek around the corner at him. Several times he got so excited he had to sit down to laugh, because he just couldn't stand the excitement. |

| Topic: Trick or Treating |

Message: Emmett was born only three weeks before dad's birth day, and was just the right size to wear the same pumpkin suit that dad wore for his first Halloween.   We went trick or treating at Grandma Bell's house and then over to Grandma Beeson's house.  Over at Grandma Beeson's house, Emmett had a blast going through Aunt Kim's candy stash! |
