Topic: Being Very Sneaky! |

Message: This afternoon Amy and I were in the kitchen making tacos for dinner. It is after all "Taco Tuesday" today. While I was browning the meat, and Amy slicing tomatoes, Emmett put down his blocks and walked over to a very large bag full of bread without making a peep. He reached inside, pulled out a bag of bread and sat down to have himself a snack. By the time I realized he wasn't playing with his blocks anymore, I came around the corner to see him shoving bread into his mouth as fast as he could before he was caught. |

Message: Happy first Halloween! We tried to get Emmett to help us gut pumpkins we were carving, but he thought they were yuck! He touched it once and then wouldn't do it again, he didn't mind looking in the pumpkin to see the work mom and dad were doing. The pumpkins looked neat when Chris was finished. Maybe next year Emmett will be more into icky! |

Topic: A New Haircut |
Date: 2007-10-26 09:34:51 |
Message: After watching Emmett's hair dangle in his eyes for several weeks, we decided it was time to get him another haircut. Emmett was very interested in playing with the combs, trimmer and hair clippings while his hair was being cut. At one point, he had all three combs that were on the counter jammed into his mouth playing with them. Once we got back home, he was full of energy and ready to show off his new haircut. |

Message: This afternoon Amy had to stay late at school for parent/teacher conferences. When dad and Emmett got home it was time for dinner. While the fridge was open, Emmett seized the opportunity to jump in and play. |
